WE ARE OPEN AS USUAL BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND 28TH-31ST MAY!

Welcome to AJR Poultry - breeders and suppliers of quality poultry and equipment based in Llanellen, near Abergavenny in South Wales.

We are a family-run business, set up about five years ago. Our twin commitments are to keeping quality poultry in the best possible conditions and supplying the public with a broad selection of happy, healthy birds - most of whom are kept outdoors to view. We believe that we stand apart from our competitors by offering a 14-day money-back guarantee on all birds supplied (over the age of 12 weeks), subject to return of the bird and receipt.

We are open seven days a week 10.00am until late. There is no need to make an appointment. Please just turn up at your own convenience. If all our staff are busy, when you arrive, please feel free to walk around and browse.

We would ask that you come well prepared as most of our poultry are housed outside in the fields, and if it is wet, muddy conditions will prevail.

We also offer a full range of poultry-keeping accessories, such as:

Poultry houses and runs (different specifications catered for)
Poultry feed - Supplied by Heygates, various types, including organic feed.
Quality animal bedding
Poultry drinkers and feeders - Galvanised and plastic
All-inclusive Starter Packs, featuring all of the above plus 4-6 Point of Lay Hybrids

We also sell free-range eggs from our shop, together with other local-sourced seasonal produce, when available.

We have been invited by Mr. & Mrs Nick Hill to do a small poultry show at Decoy Pool Farm, Nyland, Cheddar. BS27 3UD. This will be on Sunday, April the 18th 2010. We be bringing along a variety of chickens,and ducks, as well as poultry houses & equipment. We will also have some hatching eggs available.

If you would like to come along we will be most glad to see you. MAY 31ST Bank holiday Monday

On May the 31st (Bank Holiday Monday) our sister company, AJR Feeds & Fencing, will be attending the open day and show at Triley Fields Equestrian Centre at Triley Farm, Triley Nr Abergavenny. We will have there the full range of Heygates Animal Feeds, and hopefully some personel from Heygates will be there to answer any questions about their excellent range of feeds that you may have.

AJR feeds & fencing in association with Heygates are very pleased to be sponsoring the Supreme Champion at this event.
